Mapping (Whole Body Photography) System to Pocono Medical Care Advanced
Dermatology’s Skin Cancer Imaging Center in Milford, Pennsylvania.
Using a
high-resolution professional digital SLR camera and advanced software,
the DermaGraphix system allows physicians to map a patient’s entire
skin surface creating a photographic baseline. Using this digital mole
map, physicians can more easily spot new moles and moles that are
rapidly changing –one of the hallmarks of melanoma.
“Mole
mapping is used in most of the melanoma clinics in university hospitals
and cancer centers,” said Thomas Bialoglow of Canfield Scientific.
